Our best is
not always enough. Good intentions are all well and good with God, but they’re
not printed on our foreheads, they’re locked away in our hearts and minds, invisible to
those who would benefit from seeing them. People will assume and deduce and
label and condemn based on their own limited interpretations.
We are all guilty
of it. Even those who love us do it. And we do it to those we love.
As Muslims, we are told to give others 70 excuses. Idyllic, yes. Easier said than done though.
Such a tragedy. So much pain, so much heartache results from misconstrued intentions...
